Though Aditi Rao Hydari embarked her career with Rakyesh Omprakash Mehra’s film DEHLI 6, it was Sudhir Mishra’s film YEH SAALI ZINDAGI and Imtiaz Ali’s ROCKSTAR which brought her into limelight. Her bold scenes in YEH SAALI ZINDAGI and cozying up with Ranbir in ROCKSTAR became the talk of the town. And now she is making waves with her upcoming film LONDON PARIS NEW YORK where she’ll be seen mouthing some bold dialogues and share a lip-lock with lead actor Ali Zafar.
Ask Aditi about her comfort level doing bold scenes on-screen and instantly she replies, “I am not playing a seductress who is seducing a man in my films,” continuing in the same vein she adds, “My role in Sudhir sir’s film wasn’t bold. I played a young girl who is in love with her husband. They are passionately in love. What you do with your partner is not bold.”

Though her role was not bold, Aditi confesses that it was a bold step for her to do Sudhir’s film, “It was a bold step to do. Nevertheless, I have no regrets for what I have done because I know I have done it for right reasons. I will never hurt anybody, never do it for wrong reasons or be dishonest because I want to sleep well at night and when I am 80 years I want to be happy.”
“Sudhir Mishra is somebody I respect and really admire. His intention of making films is also honest. You are showing a young couple in love so they will not play badminton,” quips Aditi.

She also clarifies about the stories, which were blown out of proportion, mentioning the number of kissing scenes in YEH SAALI ZINDAGI. “No there were only 3 kisses. I haven’t broken any record. It’s all media created,” clarifies Aditi.
Directed by Anu Menon and produced by Shrishti Arya and Goldie Behl, LONDON PARIS NEW YORK is all set to release on 2nd March 2012.
