There are as many as six leading ladies in GRAND MASTI – Manjari Phadnis, Karishma Tanna, Sonalee Kulkarni, Bruna Abdulla, Maryam Zakaria and Kainaat Arora. However, despite an overtly risque content that is on display in this Indra Kumar directed affair, none of them felt offended or uncomfortable about any of the sequences that were being canned, whether with or without them.

“Well, hats off to them,” smiles Aftab Shivdasani, one of the leading men in the film, “See, they knew what was the kind of film that they had chosen to be a part of. Moreover, since it is an adult comedy, it was but natural requirement to rope in women who came with a fantastic sense of humour and didn’t feel offended about jokes that were on play.”

In the film, Aftab is paired with Manjari Phadnis and Maryam Zakaria.
“Both of them were fantastically cooperative which made all the difference,” says Aftab on a fond tone, “If that wouldn’t have been the case, it would have become very difficult for all involved. See, women by nature are a lot more conscious and sensitive than men. With the ones in our film though, it was a breeze interacting with them; both on and off the camera. Each one of them is so chilled out and was laughing all through even if they were just observing Riteish, Vivek and I shooting. Such was the kind of camaraderie that we managed to build.”
Now we would like to see that as well once the film hits the screens this Friday.
