Off late Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has been in news for lot of reasons, one being for her posh 21 crore apartment and then being part RAAT AUR DIN remake. And now reportedly the actress is all set to play a surrogate mother in JASMINE, a film revolving around surrogacy.
According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, JASMINE will mark the directorial debut of Siddharth and Garima who have also written the script of the film. Earlier Siddharth and Garima have scripted TOILET EK PREM KATHA and the upcoming film BATTI GUL METER CHALU.
JASMINE will be a co-production of Shree Narayan Singh and Prernaa Arora's KriArj Entertainment. Talking about the subject of the film JASMINE, Shree Narayan Singh was quoted saying in Mumbai Mirror as, “It is inspired by a real life story of a woman in Gujarat who doesn't want to have children but decides to become a surrogate mother for someone else. After a point she gets attached to the child and wants the child back."
Admitting that she wants to cast Aishwarya in the film, Prernaa was quoted saying in the report as, “We would love to have her but it will depend on her dates."
Well we hope Aishwarya takes up this project as we would love to watch Aishwarya play a lead role in such an interesting film.
