Alia Bhatt is in a happy space. Her 2 STATES has entered the 100 crore club while her STUDENT OF THE YEAR team has enjoyed good success too, what with Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra enjoying a success each too.
"Yes, I liked MAIN TERA HERO. I saw it in a theatre and found it to be a typical David Dhawan comedy. I truly believe Varun was fantastic in the film. Also, Siddharth was so good in HASEE TOH PHASEE. He has shown his versatility as an actor in just his second film," smiles Alia.
The trio of youngsters which was seen together in STUDENT OF THE YEAR has indeed made mentor Karan Johar proud.
"We always hope to make Karan proud in everything we do. He saw something in us because of which he gave us a chance. We can't let him down. We will try to work hard for the rest of our life and do justice to every role and every character. We owe this much to Karan for launching us in the industry," says Alia.
Meanwhile her chemistry with Arjun Kapoor in 2 STATES means that producers are already lining up to bring the do together on the big screen again.
"You know, the most interesting thing is that Arjun and I didn't know each other from the past and we didn't have any bonding whatsoever," she says, "I have always maintained that the chemistry that you see on screen is always an outcome of the written material and not something that we carry from home to sets. Tomorrow, we may be best of friends off screen but if the script is not compelling enough, none of our personal camaraderie would help. Script is the King."
We believe in that as well.
