It is believed that the superstars are perfect in their work so when asked the megastar as an actor, does he see any flaws in him, he confessed, “There are a lot of flaws. Every day, I get to learn something and by god’s grace, I have seen four generations. Even on the sets, every generation comes with their own set of art & caliber. What is their way of working, their way of thinking, I can sit with them. Many times I have said that I have grown old, I have entered 73 and the average age on the sets is around 25-30 years. So the difference of 40 years sometimes makes me wonder what am I doing here. But, I feel good being in between those people and I get to learn from them. I see how they are vigilant towards their work.”

Times have changed and a lot has changed in the industry too. Big B also spoke about the transformation that has taken place now saying “A lot of transformation has taken place, transformation in technology & making. But, what I like the most is that a lot of women have now come. First there was only heroine’s mother and nobody else. But now, women have become very powerful, they see the important work, they are very efficient. I feel very good look at this. Someone will come and make me wear the costume, someone will come and tell the continuity, someone will tell me you did this there, they work behind the camera, in the lighting, production, management. So I have really liked this change.”

“Now, the way of working has also changed. First we use to do 20-30 films together; we used to shoot for 3 different films in one day. Now, one film is made together with full planning, we get an entire bound script. Before, except Salim-Javed we hadn’t got any bound. And now everything takes place with a lot of planning. I always wonder, a particular scene is written in this manner; this will be shot here how will this happen. I feel scared, what will we do, how will we do, but the minute you reach, everything is arranged and planned very well. Everything has been departmentalized; everybody has been allotted different responsibilities.” He added

SHAMITABH also stars Dhanush and marks Akshara Haasan debut in Bollywood. Produced by R K Damani, Rakesh Jhunjhunwaala, Sunil Lulla, Abhishek Bachchan & Gauri Shinde, the film is set to release on 6th February, 2015.
