With Rajkummar Rao winning a National Award for his bravura performance in SHAHID, it is good news indeed not just for him but also the films with which he is currently associated. One such film is DOLLY KI DOLI where he is a key protagonist opposite Sonam Kapoor. While the newsbreak resulted in some quick celebrations on the sets of the film, his producer Arbaaz Khan was happy to have stood by his conviction when it came to roping in the talented actor for his third film after DABANGG and DABANGG 2.

So how does it feel to have a National Award winner on board as an actor?
‘Well, it is always good to have someone on board who can pride himself with such honor,’ smiles Arbaaz, ‘Having said that, the kind of actor that Rajkummar is, he is a great asset to have in your film, with or without an award. We have shot with him for a few days and the way he approaches every scene and brings on different nuances each time around is amazing. He is a true actor who also knows how best to fit himself into the commercial scheme of things.’
DOLLY KI DOLI marks the directorial debut of Abhishek Dogra and features Pulkit Samrat along with Varun Sharma (of FUKREY fame).
