Apart from Varun, Shraddha and Lauren, the dance flick, which will be shot in Las Vegas, will also star actor-choreographer Prabhu Dheva, who will reprise his role as dance instructor-mentor Vishnu.
Confirming the news, Lauren said, “I am quite excited to be a part of the sequel project. I had a great time working with Remo sir in ABCD and I hope the sequel will be as big a hit as the prequel.”
When we contacted Remo, he too confirmed the news, “Lauren was always part of ABCD, the franchise, so there is no question of casting her specially.”
While Lauren played the lead dancer in the first part, probe Remo about her role in the sequel, considering Shraddha is the leading lady of the film, and he discloses, “Though there are two girls in this film, they are not pitted against each other. Lauren plays an American girl and has a very prominent role in the movie.”
Remo D’Souza has retained the entire cast of the prequel with Shraddha Kapoor and Varun Dhawan as the new addition. The film will go on-floors in August 2014.
