A residence is likely to be lavished with a cinematic stamp of recognition and honour, courtesy GUNDAY.
A house in Phoolghat, Kolkata, where a substantial portion of GUNDAY has been canned with Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor has been christened as Bikram – Bala Sadan.
Incidentally, Bikram and Bala are the names of the characters that Ranveer and Arjun essay in GUNDAY.
The actors filmed in that house for such an extended period of time, that the owners felt that this venue would become a tourist place after the release of the YRF flick. However, after the shoot itself the house became extremely popular among the local people.
The owners decided to hence keep the re-name the house as 'Bikram Bala Sadan', as whenever people would visit the place even after watching GUNDAY, it would remind them of the film.
When contacted Ali, he said, 'When we heard that the owners are doing something like this, we were surprised. In the last 6-8 months a lot of people have been visiting that house and the owners will be opening it up as a tourist place once the film releases'
Guess, it's just homely recognition…
