Bollywood actress & fashion philanthropist Evelyn Sharma ties knot as the global ambassador for the Slow Fashion Season 2019. Evelyn Sharma has been announced as the global ambassador of CollAction’s Slow Fashion Season 2019. Their aim is to mobilize at least 10,000 people to stop buying new clothes for three months in order to take a stand against the negative impact of the quick moving fashion industry on the environment.
Evelyn Sharma in a statement said, “I’m super excited to work with CollAction and love that both of us work towards a common cause. I believe coming together is just the beginning. At Seams for Dreams (SFD) we aim at raising awareness towards the use of sustainable fashion. I now have the honour of doing just that as an ambassador along with Ron van den Akker for Slow Fashion Season, but on an even bigger and amplified scale”.
Seams for Dreams Charity Trust (SFD), the brainchild of Bollywood actress turned philanthropist Evelyn Sharma, is an Indian non-profit organization (NGO) that was founded in the year 2015. Evelyn Sharma has always gone out of her way to do laudable work beyond the world of cinema and has balanced her interest in supporting sustainable fashion through her charity trust Seams for Dreams. The Bollywood actress now in association with Slow Fashion Season is spreading awareness amongst the next generation to be more responsible towards the environment.
