Bollywood’s acclaimed actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui and debutant Aarya Kumar have a lot in common. Both hail from Northern India, both are extremely talented, both come with a theatre background. And last but not the least both have struggled hard to make it to the glitzy industry. Like Nawaz, Aarya too strived for years to get a break in the vast film industry.

After struggling for almost 9-10 years, Aarya, who nurtured the dream of becoming an actor from childhood, is all set to step in Bollywood with Anup Jalota and Chaitannya Swami’s BOYSS TOH BOYSS HAIN. Despite the long wait, the enthusiasm in Aarya is no less. Where many aspirants lose their hope or think of giving up after a point, Aarya never lost his focus and stood upbeat about his dream.
Says Aarya, ”Yeah, it was a pretty long wait. It took me 9-10 years to set my foot in the industry. And it’s very easy to lose patience. But I was always firm and knew what I wanted. I have no complains or regret about it. See, in any industry it takes time for one to get a foothold. And film industry is no exception. I never let myself go through any sort of frustration. Kyunki is frustration ke chakkar mai hi kitney gayab ho gaye. Instead, I took it easy and kept trying till I landed a role. Every actor in his/her life has had his/her share of struggle. It’s part and parcel. No actor is spared from it. It’s a phase which everyone faces. So, I am not new to it. Actors like Nawazuddin, Manoj Bajpayee, et all tasted success after enough struggle. They got what they desired but even after being established the struggle is not over. Now they struggle to sustain. So there is no end to it.”
But ask Aarya how supportive and tolerant were his parents during his struggling period and he says candidly, ”They gave me my space. They always understood my dream and encouraged me. Yeah there was a time when I had to motivate my mother over phone. Unko dilaase bhi deta tha. But at the end of the day she had faith in me and my dreams. So when I bagged BOYSS TOH BOYSS HAIN their joy knew no bounds.”

Aarya has childlike excitement in him at the moment. He says, ”I am very happy and excited about my first film. I just can’t wait to see myself on the silver screen.”
Like every actor even Aarya’s desire is to share screen space with megastar of Bollywood, Amitabh Bachchan. ”It’s every actor’s dream to share the frame with the star of the millennium and so is mine.”
Apart from BOYSS TOH BOYSS HAI, Aarya will be seen in Chaitannya Swami and Sanjay Parmar’s film called PAKAUU. Besides, Aarya is also doing an action-packed film, which is set to go on floors by August end or in the first week of September.
Meanwhile, Aarya is looking forward to BOYSS TOH BOYSS HAIN, an out-n-out comedy for all age groups, which is set to release on 12th July 2013.
