Chandan Roy Sanyal plays an Afghan refugee in ‘Dar Badar’

A real-life story based on an Afghan refugee played by the talented Chandan Roy Sanyal and Shoaib Lodin in their upcoming movie "Dar Badar"

Glamourstruck presents in association with SALP Films “Dar Badar” also in English titled as “Door to Door”. A mid-length film inspired by a true story of an Afghan refugee. Starring talented actors Chandan Roy Sanyal and Afghan Dutch actor Shoaib Ludin.

Dar Badar is made by Rohit Khaitan, who has also done projects like Dev D, Prague and many more. He has now united with collaborative creative and technical teams from Afghanistan, the Netherlands and Russia to create magic in his upcoming movie “Dar Badar”.

It is an international film and will be dubbed in multiple languages such as Urdu, Hindi, Dutch, Dari, Pashto and Farsi language.

Chandan Roy Sanyal said, ”‘We’re very happy’ we won the award at 27th Minsk Int’l FF “Listapad” and extremely thankful to the Min of Culture Belarus and the int’l jury for the recognition and appreciating our film touching the kind subject of refugee crises, humanity, finding inspiration and keeping hope alive.”

“Dar Badar” is also opening for its world premiere on 21st November at the 27th Minsk International Film Festival “Listapad” which will be organized by the phenomenal Ministry of Culture, Government of the Republic of Belarus. The movie will be in the official selection and later on will be continued for other prestigious film festivals run.
