It’s quite a trend with Bollywood stars to bank on a particular dialogue if it becomes a rage or a character if it emerges larger-than-life and/or if it has touched the lives in anyway. When the sassy ‘Geet’ from JAB WE MET won over hearts of one & all, Kareena Kapoor, who had played the popular role, in her subsequent films, seemingly, portrayed similar parts to make the most of it. But it wasn’t lapped up the way ‘Geet’ was received!

And now we see quite the same thing happening with the most sought-after actress of Bollywood currently, Deepika Padukone, who has been enthralling us with her peculiar dialogue delivery and mesmerizing characters. Little did one know that Deepika’s funny one-liner ‘Bokwaas Dictionary’ with slightly unrealistic yet hilarious south-Indian accent in CHENNAI EXPRESS would turn iconic. But now that it has become a rage, Deepika too seems to be riding on the coat-tails!

In her upcoming film HAPPY NEW YEAR (HNY), Deepika would be once again seen grabbing the attention with her unique yet shoddy accent (‘Eazy’ or ‘Dance Ek Art Hai’). While in CHENNAI EXPRESS, Deepika seamlessly uttered the line and looked pretty natural, the way she mouths her dialogue in HNY appears to be deliberately done!

While Deepika has failed to create any impression in the first trailer of the much touted film, we still await to see the lanky lady creating some magic in the forthcoming trailers/teasers or who knows she may surprise us/sweep us off our feet once the film releases on October 24, 2014! Let’s wait and watch!
