If the team of RAANJHNAA is pretty gung ho about their lead actor Dhanush, it is with a reason. Not just has the youngster emerged as an extremely humble and down to earth personality despite his star status, especially down South and now even country wide, courtesy ‘Kolaveri Di’, he has also impressed one and all with his capability to can a shot in a single take. That, when this Aanand L Rai directed film happens to be Dhanush’s first in Hindi.

“He adapted to the new world like no one could have ever imagined. To put it mildly, he surprised just everyone on the sets. Of course it is a known fact that he is a good actor but then even good actors come up with a few retakes before delivering a perfect shot. In case of RAANJHANAA, despite Hindi not being Dhanush’s principle language, there was no sign of discomfort or nervousness. He came up trumps as the right choice for the film, so much so that it became almost a routine for everyone present around him to applaud whenever he came up with a ‘one take’ shot,” informs a prominent crew member.
With the film’s First Look expected to be out in 10 days from now, it is time for reverse countdown to begin and reintroduce the man to the world as someone who was much more than just ‘that boy from ‘Kolaveri Di’.

“Exactly,” says Krishika Lulla of Eros, the film’s producers, “I personally believe in a lot of simplicity and it is nice when a human being like Dhanush comes on board and lends so much positivism towards the movie. He gave some really strong vibes right from start to finish of the film. What added to his worth was the fact that he just went with the flow without any interruptions or breaks whatever. I am just hoping that this virtue of his continues even after the film’s release. There are few like him.”
Guess after impressing his producer and the director, it is time for Dhanush to spread his charm over audience as well once RAANJHANAA releases all over on 21st June 2013.
