DILWALE train sequence is not a recreation of the DDLJ, says Rohit Shetty

Contrary to the reports doing the rounds that the iconic train sequence from Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol’s blockbuster film DILWALE DULHANIYA LE JAYENGE is being recreated in their latest film DILWALE, the Rohit Shetty helmed film doesn’t have any such shot.

The spokesperson also adds, “In fact nothing will be taken from DDLJ. Both DILWALE and DDLJ are way different from each other. DILWALE is altogether a different venture from DDLJ.”A spokesperson from Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment also confirmed, “There is a train sequence in the film DILWALE but it does not have any similarity to DDLJ's scene.

Director Rohit Shetty also issued a statement on the same: 'Yes, we have shot a sequence in the train but it is not a recreation of the DDLJ train sequence.'

The film also stars Varun Dhawan, Kriti Sanon, Varun Sharma, Vinod Khanna and others. The music of the film will be composed by Pritam. DILWALE is scheduled for release on 18 December 2015.
