Ayushmann Khurrana, the multi-talented actor, singer and composer-turned-producer as he produced a short film TOFFEE which is directed by his wife Tahira Kashyap. The film talks about child marriage and India falling prey to child marriages.

In conversation with Ayushmann as he speaks why he choose to produce his wife’s film on child marriage.
Ayushmann said, “The ratio of child marriage is high in India and this topic will reach masses. It was Tahira’s brain child I did nothing and I want the film to reach masses. I have always done films which always had a message as well as commercially appealing. But we didn’t make the film for it to be commercial as it was for a message.”
When asked him do films have the power to change an individual’s mindset to which he said, “Yes, cinema and cricket in India is very powerful and it doesn’t inspire you, cricket hugely inspired me. I would play cricket, however, I am focusing more on singing and acting. Everything inspires me in a way, Tahira inspire me, my kids, in fact my kids teach me that, never let the child within us die.”
Lastly when asked him what’s the key to successful marriage, Ayushmaan said, “Friendship I believe what SRK says, Pyaar dosti hai, your partner should be your best friend.”
