Ishq Bector is a famous Indo-Canadian singer, performer, songwriter, composer, producer and Hip Hop artist. He loves Hindi music and makes sure he adds his touch to the songs he has sung and composed.

Now he has crooned ‘Awaara Dil’ for the film MONEY HAI TOH HONEY HAI, ‘Nobody Like You’ from MISSION ISTAANBUL, ‘Karle Gunaah’ from UGLY AUR PAGLI.

As music Director he has directed songs like 3 songs in BHEJA FRY 2.

His next song ‘Raina’ in FUKREY 2 is a beautiful romantic song and its Ishq’s love for music has taken a greater high.

In an exclusive candid conversation with Ishq Bector he spoke about how he started his career and what does music mean to him and what are his upcoming projects.

When asked what made him fall in love with Bollywood music, Ishq said, “Since a kid I would listen to Bollywood songs and was fond of it. I started writing and composing from a young age. The first break given to me was by Himesh and I am thankful to him.”

Furthermore when asked him if a godfather is needed to enter the industry, he said, “It depends, but for me yes there are legends who liked my work, and among them my favourite is Arijit Singh, Pritam Da, Himesh Reshammiya.”

When asked him what kind of music interests him, he replied, “I love to listen to all kind of music. I like to add a touch of romance, Punjabi tadka and dance so that it touches Indian audience, love and romance steals away. And every year I make sure that in 30 days I compose a new song for an album which I will use for my album.”

Talking about the new song ‘Raina’ in FUKREY RETURNS Ishq avers, “It’s a beautiful song and it will be out soon. Apart from this there are many more songs coming up.”
