Director-producer-actor-singer Farhan Akhtar turned 39 today.
The multi-talented Bollywood personality has planned to spend his birthday exclusively with his family as he got released from the hectic scheduled for the first time in four-five years on his birthday, media reports said.
Akhtar is also in no mood to plan any birthday bash on his special day due to the brutal gang-rape and murder of the 23 years medicine student of Delhi.

“I am going to spend some quality time with my family. Last year, I was in the middle of a hectic schedule. Plus I am not in a celebratory mood. The Delhi rape case is just one of the incidents responsible. But I am optimistic about 2013,” said Akhtar.
The actor has received a special haircut from his wife (Adhuna Akhtar) as his birthday gift, he told to a leading newspaper.
Born to writer-lyricist Javed Akhtar, Farhan made his directorial debut with DIL CHAHTA HAI in 2001, and seven years later in 2008 he made his acting debut with the film ROCK ON.
He made his Hollywood debut through the soundtrack of BRIDE AND PREJUDICE in 2004, for which he wrote the lyrics.
