Inaamulhaq, who proved his acting mettle with FILMISTAAN, is happy doing substantial roles in small films than playing a henchman in a star-studded venture. Inaamulhaq has signed his next film titled CHIDIYA, which is again a small-budgeted project.
Ask Inaamulhaq about averting starry films and the talented actor says, “I am not averse to it but I don’t want to roam around like henchman in a big starry film. I don’t want to be one of the crowds in the film. It should not be a blink and miss appearance role also. I want to do good and appreciable work. I prefer quality over quantity. Even if you have 17-18 movies listed in your filmography what’s the use if your work is not up to the mark or the roles in the films are not worthy enough.”
He adds, “FILMISTAAN was a script-driven film and I am looking forward to do only such kind of good films. And that’s the reason I even signed CHIDIYA, which is a very beautiful film.”
Inaamulhaq, who recently watched BABY, says that even stars are opting for content-driven films. “Gone are the days, when films were mere source of entertainment. Today, even stars are paying attention to content in the film. They have realized its importance. They have started valuing audiences’ money,” the actor signs off.
