Fire at Mumbai suburb building housing several film companies

Mumbai, Oct 14 (IANS) A fire broke out in Peninsula Business Park Building at Andheri (West) in Mumbai on Monday afternoon. The building houses several Bollywood production houses.

It is reported that around 40 people stranded on the upper floors have been rescued safely, and there are no casualties so far.

The fire occurred on the 6th floor of the 22-storied building.

Pictures and videos of the fire incident were uploaded on Instagram by Mumbai-based celebrity photographer Viral Bhayani.

Sources said almost all offices, including the fi,lm production companies, are in danger.
