The standup comedian has lodged a police complaint against an unknown imposter at Oshiwara police station in Mumbai. The comedian issued a formal letter to the police stating his grievances claiming that the imposter is maligning his name by posting derogatory posts against politicians and celebrities across various digital platforms on social media.

In his complaint, Srivastava said that the unknown accused has been circulating his picture along with "irrelevant comments" on WhatsApp and other social media platforms in India and abroad.

The incident was brought into the noted comedians notice by his well wishers. Raju feels that somebody is doing it with "criminal intentions’ and wants to create hatred and ill will amongst his followers and public in general.

Initially when he was informed by a well wisher, he took it as a prank but when more and more people started informing him about the mischief, he saw the image and came to a conclusion that it’s not just a joke but an assault on his character created to defame and injure his character and reputation.

The complain has been filed and the authorities are looking into the matter. The imposter has used his photograph and posted a image that pokes fun at a senior politician.
