He is literally having a ball. It’s been quite a journey for the talented actor Vicky Kaushal – son of veteran action man Shyam Kaushal from serving aloo parathas to people coming for meetings at his home to bagging the accolades for MASAAN to the feel good romantic comedy LOVE PER SQAURE FOOT. Here is how the new age intensity quotient won over his inhibitions as an actor.
Remember we mentioned about Atul Mathur the low profile acting guru who helped stars like Varun Dhawan and Arjun Kapoor get in touch with their natural ability and spontaneity The same Atul Mathur is also instrumental in Vicky Kaushal’s win over his inhibitions as an actor.
Before appearing in front of the camera, Vicky Kaushal had concerns on how to read a bound script and understand the character. Atul trained him in script reading sessions and made him aware about the technicalities that get involved while going through a script helping him developing the required nuances for the role.
Says Atul, “Vicky initially had inhibitions regarding understanding the role/character from a script, we helped him in getting trained in script reading which helped him in getting into the skin of the character and doing wonders like MASAAN, RAMAN RAGHAV 2.0, I am glad that Vicky is turning into a refined talent and has a long way to go.”
Certainly, Vicky is enjoying his acting, be it the brooding boy belonging to a family of corpse burners, in the National Award winner MASAAN to the aggressive cop with grey shades in Anurag Kashyap’s terrific RAMAN RAGHAV 2.0 that starred Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the main lead, the actor is enjoying the ‘happy’ mode in Ronnie Screwvala’s upcoming rom com LOVE PER SQUARE FOOT helmed by Anand Tiwari as he has conquered his fears and turned victorious as an actor.
