John ‘action’ Abraham is looking forward to an eventful year ahead and while he is waiting to see his biggies leaving a major impact amongst audience as well as industry bigwigs, one man who just can’t stop raving about him at every opportune moment is filmmaker Sanjay Gupta. With a massive portion of SHOOTOUT AT WADALA already been canned and the rushes indicating that as a gangster Manya Surve, John has pretty much delivered a performance of the lifetime, Gupta feels that this is the actor’s biggie that is just waiting to be unveiled.

‘I think Sanjay and I make a winning pair,’ John smiles, ‘The film warrants that I draw analogies with international filmmakers and actors. I would go to the extent of saying that Sanjay is my Tim Burton and I am his Johnny Depp. I just feel that we understand each other very well.’
