While most actresses vie for awards, here's one actress who truly thinks differently. Kangana Ranaut, who impressed one and all with her superlative performance in QUEEN, says awards are not her priority.
Says the actress, ''There are so many award shows. Almost 15-16. You have to sit for nearly five-six hours for each award show. Plus you have to spend around two hours for hair and make-up. The awards cost you a lot. If there was one award, it would have been okay. But there are so many of them.''
She further adds, ''It's not that I don't think that our awards are genuine. But everyone gets an award these days. There are also awards for best smile and best saree. So you feel why are you sitting here (at the award show), if awards are given just for the sake of making people happy. I think at any given age, there are priorities that you have. Awards are not my priority.''
The 27-year-old actress, who won best debut award for GANGSTER and was even felicitated with a National Award for FASHION, will next be seen in Sai Kabir's REVOLVER RANI opposite Vir Das. The film is all set to release on 25th April.
