Fox Star Studios and Phantom Films’ BOMBAY VELVET, directed by Anurag Kashyap, will feature leading film maker, Karan Johar, in a stellar role as an antagonist in the film. Marking his debut as one of the main leads in a feature film, Karan will essay the role of a rich businessman who plays a crucial role in the life of Ranbir Kapoor‘s character onscreen. Incidentally, BOMBAY VELVET will also see Ranbir and Anushka together for the first time. The duo will play lovers whose lives intermingle with the evolution of the city of Bombay, through the 50s to early 70s.
