The prominent release of the week, T-Series and  Bhansali Productions’ MALAAL, failed to entice the audience managing single digit collections, despite the associated big names. Having said that the film still has the remaining 2-days of the weekend to reverse it’s fortunes.

The other new film, Karanvir Bohra and Samir Kochar starrer, HUME TUMSE PYAAR KITNA faced a cold response from the audience, wherever it managed to release. The remaining venture of the week, Anupam Kher’s ONE DAY :JUSTICE DELIVERED fared worse!

Meanwhile, Anubhav Sinha’s Ayushmann Khurana starrer ARTICLE 15 maintained a stable run throughout the week  netting 35 crore during the opening week from India and given the moderate budget and the encouraging second Friday, ARTICLE 15 is on way to a clean hit status, fingers crossed! The film is also decent in the overseas.

Concluding with T-Series’  Shahid Kapoor-Kiara Advani starrer, KABIR SINGH, the film saw a rock steady 76 crore second week thus netting 210 crore so far and is on way to an all time blockbuster status. KABIR SINGH is also  a good overseas success.
