Bollywood is a land of dreams and definitely many aspirants from all across the world with dreams in their eyes would like to get a break in Bollywood. But what began as a prank, turned out to be dream come true for one lucky spot boy on the sets of TAMANCHEY.

Whilst packing up for the day, the crew of the film TAMNCHEY was in a relaxed mood and decided to play a prank on one of the spot boys of the film. They asked him to audition for the role of a gangster in the film. Maybe the spot boy felt that this was his opportunity in the sun and in all earnestness to create an impact started seriously ‘acting’ and mouthed his over dramatic dialogues in Bhojpuri.

The whole unit was in splits and started laughing at him, but unnoticed to them, Nikhil Dwivedi was observing it from his vanity van. Nikhil appreciated his intensity and intent and requested the director to give him a role in the film, since the film is based in the interiors and would give authenticity to the character. The director too agreed and gave him a role that suited him in the film.

TAMANCHEY is an acidic love story, supposedly based on the love story of Abu Salem and Monica Bedi.
