The premiere edition of the Lux Golden Rose Awards was attended by crème de la crème of the film industry. The event witnessed the most enthralling showcase of talent and entertainment.
Hosted by none other than Bollywood Badshah Shah Rukh Khan, Karan Johar and Arjun Kapoor, the event was a huge success.
The star-studded event celebrated and recognized the grace, style and glamour of Bollywood’s most timeless beauties. Connoisseurs of Indian films were abuzz with anticipation about this new initiative which honors Bollywood actresses for portraying versatility with zest.
The nominees in the various categories were determined by a panel of established personalities from within the film industry which included Falguni and Shane Peacock, Malaika Arora Khan, Sunidhi Chauhan, Mickey Contractor, Shiamak Davar and Neeta Lulla.
The award ceremony was a grand success graced by some of the most prominent faces of the industry. The red carpet was set ablaze as the crème de la crème of the industry adorned in their finest including Sharmila Tagore, Sridevi, Madhuri Dixit, Deepika Padukone, Anushka Sharma, Jaqueline Fernandez, Katrina Kaif and many more.
The best part of this event was that all the A-lister actresses, who are usually touted as rivals were nominated under various categories and surprisingly each one of them won a prize. Generally in a competition there are some winners and losers but at this event there was an award for each one of those beautiful actresses.
