Quite surprisingly the legendary actress of Bollywood, Madhubala’s wax figure, inspired by her utmost popular character Anarkali from MUGHAL-E-AZAM, was unveiled by Madame Tussauds, Delhi on Thursday. Well, having her wax statue is truly a heartening news for fans and even a great honour for the late actress, but our question is why so late? Why the actress, who has been heartthrob of millions and till today she has an ardent fan following, wasn’t considered earlier? Where the gems of India like Amitabh Bachchan, Sachin Tendulkar, Mahatma Gandhi, Shah Rukh Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and many others have already made it to Tussauds, Madhubals’s entry is way too late considering her stature and contribution in Indian Cinema.

Having said that, we were indeed missing this legendary actress and now that we have Madhubala’s wax statue at Madame Tussauds, her admirers can yet again cherish her beauty and golden era of Indian Cinema.
