Reminiscing the memories of the struggling days with Anna (Suniel Shetty), Salman said, “Anna has been a very close part of me. I’ve known him before I was in the movies. He was also trying to be an actor, I was also trying to be an actor-director-writer-producer, all these things put together. I used to take my pictures, Anna’s pictures and there’s this friend of mine who was a model, he’s no more- Guri, and struggle with 3 portfolios. I remember the day Suniel walked into our house, dad said, ‘Is ladke mein kuch baat hai’. And I was looking at him and saying ‘Ghar mein ek ladka rehta hai usme koi baat nahi dikhai deti aapko’”.
“When I was growing up, modelling and stuff, I remember, Suniel & I had a lot of fascination for boots. Sunil used to have this place called Mischief and I went there to buy some spurs. When I went there and saw the price I was like ’Yeh toh pure mahine ka kharcha hai’ and I could not afford it. Suniel had some extra so he took me home and gave me his spurs. In fact, a year ago I got them out again. They were at my farmhouse. So I have those spurs with me,” he added.
Also telling us about how he met Aditya, Salman said, “I’ve known Nirmal Pancholi that is Aditya Pancholi for the longest time. First time we met, we were both shooting for our ad film. As soon as I walked in and saw him, I said ‘Aree yaar ye height kaha se launga?’. Then he was selected by stardust and from there we became friends and he has worked with Sangeeta and my friends. Since that point of time, we’ve been very close. It’s been a nice short journey.”
Now we know it’s not easy for the superstars too. It’s only hard work that pays off!
