Punit Malhotra’s GORI TERE PYAAR MEIN starring Imran Khan and Kareena Kapoor releases on November 22, and the director says that the movie is not merely a rom-com, but has a deeper meaning attached to it. GTPM’s story is said to be Punit’s real life story, which sees Imran Khan as the ultimate aashiq trying to woo Kareena Kapoor by all means.

While GORI TERE PYAAR MEIN releases on November 22, there are four other major releases – KRRISH 3, RAM-LEELA, SINGH SAAB THE GREAT and BULLETT RAJA in the month of November. With such big releases in the same month, Punit feels that the other films are way bigger than GORI TERE PYAAR MEIN and that GTPM is an underdog film.

”Frankly all the films releasing are way bigger than us. I am hoping that our product is good enough. Underdog film hai… Agar aapko achi lage toh picture chalegi nahi toh nahi chalegi,” expressed Punit at an event recently.
