Anurag Kashyap, for his magnum opus BOMBAY VELVET has sourced a lot of props from around the world to ensure they fit well in the milieu he has tried to create.
A source from the sets said, 'Ranbir and Anushka are playing with real guns in the film. The guns have been imported from Germany.
The bullets have been shipped from Turkey and they are all part of close-up shots that feature the actors.

Add to this there are blood capsules from UK for scenes showing bloodshed.
Ranbir and Anushka’s costume accessories have been picked up from Europe.
They have been chosen by the team keeping in the mind the era in which the film is based.”
