But before all that, we remember one of the true icons who has actually contributed to the achievements of India's space race. He is none other than Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. He was the 11th President of India and today on 27 July 2019, we remember him on his 4th death anniversary.
He was one of the main icons of India who due to whom he India carved a niche in the space race after the USA, Russia, and China.
Kalam who is called the MISSILE MAN of India spent a huge time of his life as a scientist and science administrator, mainly at the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) and was intimately involved in India's civilian space program and military missile development efforts. His life and works are noted in his well-known autobiography 'WINGS OF FIRE.'
On this day of his fourth death anniversary, we remember one of the finest scientists.
