Now the actor is busy shooting for his next films – Karan Anshumann’s BANGISTAN and Bumpy’s BANK CHOR.
Ask Riteish was he hesitant in accepting BANK CHOR, which was earlier offered to Kapil Sharma, and he admits, “Not really. I wasn’t hesitant in signing BANK CHOR. Kapil Sharma is great in what he does and has an amazing comic timing. I’m sure he will be a great actor too. I’m a big fan of his work. A guy who has such great comic timing and understanding of scripts on stage, for him films will come slightly easier and I really wish him all the best.”
He further adds, “I don’t judge a film by whom it has been offered to because every film has its own destiny. Sometimes things don’t work out and I don’t really take it to heart. It really doesn’t matter that someone refused it and hence it came to me. There would be many films which I would have rejected and they would have gone to someone else. A film should be purely taken into consideration on the merit of its script. In fact, I got my first film as someone had refused to do. So these things really don’t matter.”
BANK CHOR, produced by Yash Raj Films and directed by Bumpy, also stars Vivek Oberoi and Rhea Chakraborty.
