When asked Salim Khan about how did they come up with the idea, he said, “My father used to tell us to study a lot which in turn helped me a lot because when I came to become an actor, main samajta tha ki Dilip Kumar ki dukaan bandh karva dung (I used to think that I could outdo Dilip Kumar). But nothing happened. I didn’t have anywhere to go and at that time only my education helped me. How many ever of my films have been made, be it HAATHI MERE SAATHI, ZANJEER, SHOLAY or TRISHUL, education has been my biggest contributor. Education is very important. It not only helps you gain knowledge but it is also a very good pastime.”

Probe Salim sir about the importance of reading and he says, “The little success that I have and also the platform these children have got is because of education and reading. If I wouldn’t have been here, even they wouldn’t be there.”

We couldn’t agree any more with you, Salim sir. Education is indeed important.
