Salman Khan reacts to BAJRANGI BHAIJAAN’s title controversy

According to reports, some ‘religious’ groups want BAJRANGI BHAIJAAN’s title changed as it ‘hurts’ religious sentiments.

At a press conference when asked if it bothers him, Salman Khan said, “No. it doesn’t. I don’t think any religious group would do something like this. If they are from a religious group, they must know that every religion respects the other person’s religion. If you see in Mumbai or Maharashtra, you’ll see Maulanas sitting at every Ganesh visarjan. Today we are in a different league altogether. Every religious group asks you to follow your religion and respect the other person’s religion. Religious groups can’t be hurt by this. Please don’t malign them. How can they be against peace? Islam means peace.”

Directed by Kabir Khan, Salman’s BAJRANGI BHAIJAAN also stars Kareena Kapoor and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. It’s slated to release on July 17.
