Salman Khan today released the first look of his upcoming film BHARAT. BHARAT, directed by Ali Abbas Zafar is an official adaptation of the 2014 South Korean film ODE TO MY FATHER. The first look of the poster shows Salman Khan in a very non-Salman manner. He is shown in an elderly salt-n-pepper look with spectacles et al. The poster also informs us that it is a ‘journey of a man & a Nation together’ and it is probably a narrative until 2010!! as inscribed on the face of the poster.
Salman Khan’s tweet reads, “Jitne safed baal mere sar aur dhaadi mein hain, usse kahin zyada rangeen meri zindagi rahi hain!” (Meaning… my life has been far more colourful than the number of gray hair strands on my head and beard). The tweet assures us that we would get to hear quite a few whistle worthy dialogues mouthed by Salman Khan in this historic narrative. Thinking about his love interest, it appears from the original film that Katrina might be playing her love interest and not just that but a wife too and may appear in an aged avatar too.
The poster portraying Salman in an aged avatar is a very non-Salman style and shows that with BHARAT, probably Salman is taking a risk of stepping out of his comfort zone.
