From debuting in a Rajshri production (ISI LIFE MEIN), Sandeepa Dhar is now stepping into a Sajid Nadiadwala outing HEROPANTI. Touted to be the surprise element in the film, Sandeepa is willing to talk about the film and herself in general, though she does excuses herself from revealing too much when it comes to her characterization (she plays Kriti Sanon's sister) in the film. However, she does promise that her presence in this Sabbir Khan directed film would be substantial enough to justify over three year long wait between ISI LIFE MEIN (2010) and HEROPANTI.
As for her co-star Tiger Shroff, she indeed has good words to say.
"When I saw Tiger on the sets, I found him to be so prepared. He is really phenomenal in everything that he does, be it emoting, action or dancing. I am sure he is going to do wonders in his life," says Sandeepa.
Sandeepa is glad that Tiger and she connected instantly, courtesy quite a few common elements that set the ball rolling for them.
"Yes indeed," she says, "For starters, we both are huge soccer fans so that broke the ice. As we started interacting, I realized that just like me, even he never wanted to be an actor. While he wanted to get into sports due to his natural inclination towards outdoor activities and fitness regime, I wanted to be a dancer, especially since I am also professionally trained in that."
While both of them laughed off the similarities, what generated some genuine likeness for Tiger in Sandeepa's heart was his chivalrous nature.
"Chivalry runs in him and he is such a humble, down to earth and sweet guy," smiles Sandeepa, "He is of course very shy and opens up to very few people. However, I am glad we connected because during our talks, I realized that he has a superb sense of humor. That eased whatever nervousness which was there while shooting for the film."
Guess it would soon be time to check the results once HEROPANTI releases all over this Friday.
