Actress and VJ Shenaz Treasury loves to travel and explore the world. Much recently the team Tourism of Karnataka collaborated with Shenaz Treasury for a 14-day road trip across some unique locations in Karnataka and 6 other states in India, flagged off from Bengaluru.
As a part of the campaign and to promote offbeat travel, Shenaz embarked on an exciting road trip that spans across 7 states, 14 days, and 21 lesser-known locations across the country.
With the aim of raising awareness about being a responsible tourist, respecting local culture and promoting environmentally-conscious tourism in Karnataka, Shenaz will explore some breathtaking architecture, ancient ruins and temples in locations such as Hampi, Aihole, Badami and Pattadakal, before heading to Andhra Pradesh.
Shenaz said, “When it comes to travel, India holds a special place in my heart. Being a passionate traveler, I strongly feel that the preservation of our natural and cultural heritage across the country is facing a grave threat. There is now a need more than ever for us to travel consciously, respectfully, and responsibly. From avoiding littering to encouraging local economy, there is a lot each one of us can do to ensure the country’s cultural legacy remains intact. I am thrilled as this will be an exciting journey of exploring Karnataka’s archaeology, ancient ruins and temples by road.'
