Shruti launched her band and brand last year called ‘Guzzlers’, her contribution to the ghazal world. She even toured the entire country for it and now going a step ahead, she will take her baby ‘Guzzlers’ to Radio! She will have celebrity guests and singers coming on her show.

Since Shruti is a hard core fan of Gulzar Sahab, ‘Guzzlers’ is her way of showing respect for him. She has sung ghazals of other renowned singers as well like Mehdi Hassan, Jagjit Singh, etc.
“I am a diehard fan of Gulzar Sahab. Not just his voice but I am also crazy about his writing, poetry, etc! In fact that is one of the reasons that I formed GUZZLERS, my band, which is about reinventing ghazals with a contemporary sound. The project is very close to my heart because ghazals are strong lyrical content. It was my brainchild. When I thought of doing something for myself, it was ghazals. And now am taking that to Radio, which will go on air from July 6.”
