Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha, who is going strong what with two back-to-back successes like DABANGG & ROWDY RATHORE to her credit, received a setback with Shirish Kunder directed film JOKER. However, this has not changed the 'Dabangg' girl's attitude towards films. The sporty that Sonakshi is takes both success and failure in her stride.
Sonakshi says, "I think success and failure is part of everyone's profession. It's a part of everyone's life. But JOKER was a risk which everybody took including me as an actor. The film didn't work; the audience didn't accept the film that's fine. So you move on."
Sonakshi has no regrets of doing JOKER. On the contrary it was more of a learning experience for her.
"No not at all. I don't regret. More than box-office success the experience of shooting a film is important for me. JOKER was a wonderful experience working with Akshay and other cast. I learnt a lot from them," says Sonakshi.
Despite the failure of JOKER Sonakshi shares good rapport with Farah Khan and her filmmaker husband Shirish Kunder. Though there were reports earlier that Sonakshi did not promote the film, she clears saying that she was always there for the film. She also says that the box-office outcome don't change the equation between two people.
"I have known Farah before. I'd interacted with Shirish when we signed the film. The working relationship with Shirish is good. Farah is like an elder sister. Farah is full of life, I love her choreography, she is funny, jovial and livewire on the sets."
"If you pull up any interviews you will see me promoting the film. I think it's wrong to point fingers and say that I didn't promote the film, which I have been written about. I don't think the box-office outcome really changes the equation between two people. Farah has been very cordial and nice to me. There is no animosity around," says Sonakshi.
Meanwhile she is gearing up for her upcoming release SON OF SARDAAR opposite Ajay Devgn. The film is all set to hit the screens on November 13, 2012.
