There is a lot of buzz around Aditya Pancholi’s son Sooraj Pancholi and Suniel Shetty’s daughter Athiya Shetty being launched by Salman Khan’s production HERO, which is a remake of Subhash Ghai’s blockbuster of 80s. However, star kids (especially two new faces) getting swanky launch pads in Bollywood with grooming and exposure is not a new thing. In the past also, we have come across such hugely-anticipated debuts. Though they arrived amidst much hype and fanfare, they couldn’t entice the audience in their debut venture.

While some star kids later went on to win over everyone, others couldn’t create any spark!

But we hope it doesn’t turn out to be the case with Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty, who are about to start their career with HERO.

REFUGEE: While Kareena Kapoor (Khan) was supposed to have a blockbuster debut with KAHO NAA PYAR HAI, she walked out of the film as she thought the film focused more on Hrithik than on the female lead. She then made her debut with REFUGEE starring Abhishek Bachchan alongside. There was huge expectation with Kareena and Abhishek (son Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan) making it big, but they couldn’t create any magic.

BARSAAT:When Dharmendra’s second son Bobby Deol and Dimple Kapadia’s daughter Twinkle Khanna were about to step their foot ahead in Bollywood, there was huge anticipation that the duo would be the next big thing to look forward to. But to everyone’s surprise both couldn’t click with the audience and eventually declined stardom.
