While Sanjay Gupta plans to bring most of his starcast of ‘Shootout at Wadala’ into his next film MUMBAI SAGA, there are good indications of a welcome addition soon. Suniel Shetty, who had a fall out with Sanjay Gupta half a decade ago during the release of MISSION ISTAANBUL: DARR KE AAGEY JEET HAI!, is back to being friends with the filmmaker.

“Suniel and Sanjay were not interacting with each other for last five years. Suniel believed that Sanjay wasn’t too charitable about his Vivek Oberoi and Zayed Khan starrer production Mission ISTAANBUL and that hurt him badly. Meanwhile, since he and Sanjay Dutt were friends, it was more or less by default that Sanjay Gupta was out of equation. The distance only became larger with every passing year and they lost touch entirely,” informs a source.
However a recent visit to Khandala by both Suniel and Sanjay brought a turnaround.

“Since both of them have a property in Khandala, they decided to meet up there. This happened just a few weeks back and it was an emotional reunion for both men. All was forgiven and forgotten in a jiffy and no one spoke about what went wrong,” the source adds.
Now one looks forward to these men coming together once again after KAANTE and SHOOTOUT AT LOKHANDWALA.
