‘Queen’ Kangana Ranaut has matured a lot as an actor and finally her hard work has paid off after winning the second National Award. Swara Bhaskar, who has been Kangana’s best friend in TANU WEDS MANU & TANU WEDS MANU RETURNS, also feels that she has grown tremendously as an actress.
“As an actress, I think she has had a tremendous growth. If you look at her first film & if you look at work in QUEEN & TANU WEDS MANU, I think it’s quite fantastic. She has been a lot more involved in the process of the shoot, but other than that I didn’t notice anything very different. She’s a fairly serious & sincere actor and at the end of the day that’s what you do; you come on the sets, do your job and do it as sincerely as possible,” she added.TANU WEDS MANU RETURNS has released after a gap of almost four years. When asked Swara whether Kangana’s way of working post TANU WEDS MANU and QUEEN has changed or no, she said, “Definitely, Kangana seems to me involved and interested in all aspects of filmmaking and she herself has mentioned that she wants to be a director. She is also doing courses abroad and training herself in other aspects of filmmaking, so I am sure that has an influence of her as well.”
TANU WEDS MANU RETURNS also starred R. Madhavan, Kangana Ranaut, Jimmy Shergill, Deepak Dobriyal & others. Directed by Aanand L.Rai and produced by Krishika Lulla & Aanand, the film released on 22nd May, 2015.
