The first week of the year 2013 has not commenced on a bright note, and in fact from the bunched releases, which included the Rajiv Khandelwal, Tena Desae and Paresh Rawal starrer, TABLE NO.21, and ace tennis player Leander Paes' acting debut venture, RAJDHANI EXPRESS, it was just the Aditya Datt directed TABLE NO. 21 which managed a decent to dull start.
The reasonably budgeted TABLE NO. 21 showed signs of a pick up during the latter shows, and given the positive feedback the film is likely to manage a healthy weekend.
Meanwhile Arbaaz Khan's Salman Khan, Sonakshi Sinha and Prakash Raj starrer, DABANGG 2, continued to be the dominant force even in its third week. Coming to the numbers, DABANGG 2 saw the best second week of 2012, as it accumulated in excess of 37 crore, and has thus netted nearly 140 crore (to be validated) in two weeks from India. The 40 crore budget DABANGG 2 (without the release cost and Salman's fee) is a blockbuster.
DABANGG 2 is a super hit in the Overseas with US and UAE returning superb numbers.
