Actor, Siddharth Bhardwaj, grabbed the headlines when he was roped in by none other than Ekta Kapoor for her light hearted realistic comedy, KUKU MATHUR KI JHAND HO GAYEE.
When we had last spoken to Siddharth he was in the thick of action shooting for KMKJHG and to get updated on the same and know the latest development in his nascent Bollywood career we caught up with Siddharth and he told us (in his cheerful way), ”Sir ji, the shooting of KUKU MATHUR KI JHAND HO GAYEE is over and the film will release on 20th February 2014. Right now, I have started work on my next project, LIFE NON-VEG. It is about a struggler who goes for every audition that he can lay his hands on!”
Curious to know the significance of his second unconventional title (after KMKJHG) LIFE NON-VEG, we put the question to Siddharth who explained, ”It’s very identifiable and realistic. A guy, who is having dal roti would like to go to the next higher dish, a non-veg. Basically non-veg can refer to adult jokes, ‘gaalis’ (expletives), girls etc.”

Elaborating further he said, ”Before you ask me about the story line, let me tell you, in LIFE NON-VEG I get in a relationship with a don’s girlfriend, and after that it’s all helter-skelter in my life, as I run for cover! The don in question is Vindu Dara Singh. While on Vindu, who needs no introduction, let me relate an interesting anecdote that happened during the launch of the film. Vindu was supposed to aim a gun at me in close proximity and in all the excitement I got injured by that gun,” concludes Siddharth Bhardwaj laughingly.
The Mukesh Modi produced LIFE NON-VEG, being directed by Yogesh Mishra, was recently launched at Cinepolis, Jaipur.
