Recalling her relation with Dev Anand, Waheeda Rehman in an interview said, ”Dev Anand was very supportive and had great confidence in my abilities.” She adds, ”During the making of SOLVA SAAL, I remember the movie’s director Raj Khosla, who had directed me in my debut film CID, asked me to wear a blouse which was very revealing. I told him that I wouldn’t be comfortable in the blouse and even if I wear I won’t be able to focus on my dance sequence being conscious of the revealing blouse.”
