Handsome hunks Akshay Kumar and Sidharth Malhotra will together be seen in the upcoming Bollywood film BROTHERS which is based on mixed martial arts.
Akshay is known for his action. When asked Sidharth if it was difficult for him to train himself and was he ever skeptical about matching up to Akshay’s levels, he said, “Yes of course.”
To which Sidharth replied, “Not at all, because you knew everything, Sir. So it was not at all hard for him. It was very easy for him because he has been kicking and punching since the khiladi days.”Akshay interrupted and asked if he could answer that on Sidharth’s behalf. He said, “I think he has done so brilliantly that I am shocked myself. Yes, because he doesn’t have any background of martial arts. But this boy has worked day and night in the gym learning different moves and different kind of arts, maybe he didn’t even know about this, but he has done it and I am shocked myself also that somebody can work so hard. I thought I was a hardworking person but here comes the man who works harder than me.”
Being his usual amusing self Akshay said, “Thanks for reminding me of my age.”
Sidharth then answered to the question saying, “It was very nerve breaking, I was very nervous. I was only obsessing about the way I look and my technique. I was troubling Karan Malhotra on the sets every time. I use to just train myself or eat or sleep on the set. So, I was doing just these 3 things for four months. Yes, I used to sleep alone. I have worked very hard and hopefully it should all come together when the film comes out.”
Also starring Jacqueline Fernandez, Jackie Shroff & others, BROTHERS is directed by Karan Malhotra. Produced by Karan Johar, the film is set to release on 14th August, 2015.
