The famous actor-director jodi Shahrukh Khan and Yash Chopra, who are coming together for a film after several years, have generated enough curiosity among the industry and cine-goers alike. There is no doubt that both the big names are romance tycoon, hence the expectations are high.

Besides their amalgamation, Chopra’s film has become a talk of the town for its title. While the title is still awaited, the makers have already begun with its promotions. A teaser of the untitled film starring Shahrukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma was released today.

Many are even touting it as a strategy to create huge buzz around the film. However, a few days ago, SRK was heard talking about it at an event. ”For now, it’s important to know that it’s my film and it’s coming out on Diwali. Naam mein kya rakha hai? (What’s in a name?),” he said, clarifying that none of this is a marketing strategy. ‘We want a title that can encompass something that can’t be destroyed, such as love and beliefs. Yashji has something in mind though.”

The teaser also takes us through various iconic films from the Yash Chopra stable such as DEEWAR, KABHI KABHIE, SILSILA and DIL TOH PAGAL HAI. Though the name of the film is kept under wraps, it was expected to be announced with the first teaser, but that did not happen.

”Never before has a film’s trailer been released without its title. This one insinuates that it just may be called ‘Yash Chopra’s romance’. However, the teaser does confirm that the film will release on Diwali,” says an insider.

Yash Chopra returns in the filmmaking industry almost after 8 years, last release being VEER ZAARA. Rumours have it that Yash Raj Films is likely to come out with the title once the film’s final schedule ends in Kashmir and Ladakh.
