It was quite an emotion-filled first look launch event of a film and a thanksgiving day. An emotionally charged Hrithik was at his best during the Q&A with the media soon after the first look launch and the screening of the first trailer of KRRISH3 in a suburban multiplex of Mumbai. He profusely thanked everyone with genuine warmth – his fans, his dad and the producer, director, and writer of the film Rakesh Roshan, Anil Kapoor (who hosted the event), his co-stars Priyanka Chopra, Kangana Ranaut, and Vivek Oberoi, his uncle and the film's music director Rajesh Roshan, his sister Sunaina Roshan, and the media.
He has survived and recovered from a major brain surgery. This was obviously playing on his mind and the fact that he was flanked by his sister, Sunaina Roshan, a cancer survivor, and his father Rakesh Roshan, another survivor of a murderous underworld attack, made it a very sentimental occasion for everyone. He was particularly grateful to Anil Kapoor and admitted that he always looked up to him and the kind of influence the evergreen and 'forever' young star had on his acting career.
He said he was hale and hearty in spite of the hole in his brain and to him the real meaning of human existence lies in facing the obstacles and challenges in life and surmounting them and doing the impossible. The character of Krrish played by him is a kind of super hero who fights against all odds before rising to succeed in life. He added that every human being has a super hero in him/her who is constantly trying to overcome the difficulties that come his/her way.
KRRISH 3 is the third film of the first ever blockbuster science-fiction super hero film franchise of Bollywood that started with KOI MIL GAYA (2003), followed by KRRISH (2006). The film is the story of a scientist Rohit Mehra and his mentally challenged son Krrish who acquires super-human physical and mental powers thanks to an extraterrestrial entity called Jaadu. KRRISH 3 is scheduled for released in 2D and 3D formats around Diwali, on November 4, 2013, and is one of the most eagerly awaited films of the year.
