With ROWDY RATHORE continuing to smash records left, right and centre, it was just a matter of time before there were talks of a sequel, and so it comes as no surprise that the makers too are hinting at it!

Would love to be a part of ROWDY sequel, says Jaswinder
JASWINDER GARDNER

One of the important roles essayed in ROWDY RATHORE was that of the oppressed house wife of a police officer (Yashpal Sharma), who towards the climax makes a total turnaround and gives a resounding kick to the villain, Baapji (M. Nasser), thereby motivating the entire villagers to come out and rebel.

Yes, we are taking about Jaswinder Gardner, who after a stint at JD’s, designed costumes for Sunil Dutt, Juhi Chawla, Antara Mali, Irrfan Khan, Irrfan Khan, Archana Puran Singh, Puneet Issar, etc…in films like ROAD, COMPANY, MUNNABHAI MBBS & KRISSH etc. With friends and colleagues encouraging her, Jaswinder soon jumped in to the acting bandwagon and was a part of almost every top ad, and was also seen in films like CHILLAR PARTY, THANK YOU, READY and the recent ROWDY RATHORE.

When we asked Jaswinder about the inspiration behind her most impactful role till date, she told us, “Well, you know when one is pushed to the limit (especially a lady), there comes a time when she fights back. And the strength and resolve comes from within (one does not even know that it exists!), by the help of GOD!” When we queried her further about the sequel to ROWDY RATHORE she said, “It was great working in ROWDY RATHORE and especially with Akshay Kumar, who always made me feel confident and at ease by his friendly nature and humbleness. Yes, why not? I would love to be a part of the ROWDY RATHORE sequel, whenever it happens,” Jaswinder concluded enthusiastically!

Well, ROWDY RATHORE is still dominating the screens, but we are already looking forward to the sequel and also to another good act by Jaswinder Gardner!
